  11. I'm using ppp with a 28k8 modem(using MNP en V.42). This last week
  12. I've problems with down loading files. 
  13. Downloaded Zip - files have 'bad crc' errors.
  14. The errors are most likely generated by a noisy telephone line.
  15. But why didn't I have problems before?
  16. How can I solve this problem without having to reduce the baudrate?
  17. How can I test my modem? ... When I use at&t6..t8 (self test)  and at%q (signal quality) my modem gives
  18. 'error'.
  19. at%l (Received signal level) gives '043'
